Allusion

The only allusions in this book are to the uselessness of human life. Camus portrays Meursault as emotionless and as a man with no remorse. Throughout the bookMeursault was given reasons to show feelings of happyness and sadness. When his mother died he showed no feeling of sadness at all and then when Marie told him that she loved he he didn't show any happiness either. From this you can come to the allusion that life is meaningless and worthless. Also when Meursault is questioned about his faith the allusion, without god life would be total caos. If god is the only thing that keeps the world in check and in balance what would happen if people didn't care about wht happen after death? without a reason to care the only thing that would result is death and evil because people would not fear hell and there would be nothing to keep the world from killing itself.
